AX84 P1 Tube Guitar Amplifier Kit
The AX84 P1 is a great beginning amp kit, using a single 12ax7 preamp
tube and a single EL84 output tube. Based on the P1 schematic at AX84,
this kit includes everything you need to build the amp except wire,
solder, speaker, guitar and hard work. The octal-tube option shown on
the schematic is NOT included in this kit, but is available as an option.
What does a kit include? 110v transformers (see option for world-ready power), unpunched aluminum chassis, resistors, caps, switches, sockets, tubes, knobs, pots, ac inlet and cable, fuse holder and fuse, lamp assembly and lamp, eyelet board (unless otherwise noted), terminal strips (as needed), screws, washers, bolts.
All the available documentation for the building of these kits (including schematics, layouts, building guides, etc...) are available at AX84.com on the respective project page and are not included with the kits. The builder is encouraged to study those materials and determine if they can handle the effort before ordering. Please contact us before ordering with your questions. We're here to help you as much as we can, but we can't provide step-by-step build assistance. |
